Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of GymlyPal, including accounts, routines, workout logs, profile information, friend requests, shared plans, messages or activity visible to other users, and attempts to access our systems.

You must use the service responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

2. No Abuse, Harassment or Harm

You must not abuse, threaten, harass, bully, intimidate, stalk, shame or target another user. You must not send unwanted friend requests repeatedly, use account details to identify or pressure someone, or share content intended to embarrass or harm another person.

3. No Illegal Use

You must not use GymlyPal for illegal activity, fraud, rights infringement, unlawful data sharing, impersonation, unauthorised access, or any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. No Harmful or Offensive Content

You must not upload, create or share content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful. You must not share workout plans or advice that you know is dangerous or misleading.

5. No Security Abuse

You must not attempt to hack, probe, scan, overload, bypass, reverse engineer, exploit or disrupt GymlyPal, its servers, databases, authentication, payment flow, email system or service providers.

You must not try to access another user's account, private workouts, routines, billing information or personal data without permission.

6. No Scraping or Automated Abuse

You must not scrape, crawl, harvest, spam, brute-force, mass-register accounts, use bots to create activity, bypass rate limits, or automate actions in a way that burdens the service or harms users.

Limited normal browser indexing by public search engines is allowed for public pages, but private account pages must not be crawled or copied.

7. No Misuse of Subscriptions or Payments

You must not attempt to bypass paid limits, manipulate subscription status, abuse payment flows, use stolen payment methods, or exploit billing errors. If you find a billing issue, contact us rather than using it unfairly.

8. Reporting Concerns

If you see abuse, harmful content, security issues or suspicious activity, contact support@gymlypal.com with enough detail for us to investigate.

9. Consequences of Violation

If we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, block access, downgrade plans, contact affected users, preserve records for investigation, or report serious matters to relevant authorities where appropriate.

10. Relationship With the Terms

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Service and applicable law will apply.
